Our Dental Services
We’ve listed some of the procedures & dental services we practice below. If you’re interested in learning more about a particular procedure, please call us on 08-9474-1477.
Aesthetic Enhancement Dentistry
- Veneers – these are thin, tooth-coloured porcelain (ceramic) shells carefully crafted to bond to and cover the front of unsightly teeth, to enhance the appearance of your smile.
- Crowns – the best way to protect and strengthen a tooth. A crown fits over the existing natural tooth and replaces the enamel part of the tooth above the gums.
- Bridges – these replace one or more missing teeth. An artificial tooth anchored in the gap between two teeth.
- Implants – these are artificial tooth roots that are inserted into the jawbone to replace missing natural teeth. Implants and their attached crowns closely mimic the look and function of real teeth.
- Teeth Whitening – a variety of products and procedures to enhance the look of your smile.

Family & General Dentistry
- Children – we provide our services to children, with a focus on forming a lifelong relationship with the dentist through our PERE philosophy.
- Seniors/Pensioners – A 10% discount is available.
- Fillings – these are used to replace areas of the tooth that have been removed due to decay.
- Dentures – when many teeth are lost or extracted, a denture may have to be fitted to maintain normal chewing, bite, speech and the appearance of the upper and lower jaws.
- Wisdom Teeth – these are a valuable asset to the mouth when they are healthy and properly positioned. Often, however, problems develop that require their removal.
- Root Canal – the aim of this treatment is to save a tooth that has been badly damaged due to disease, decay or injury.
Nitrous Oxide “Relaxing Gas”
- Nitrous oxide, or relaxing gas, is a form of inhalation sedation used regularly in dentistry to reduce anxiety and tension during your dental visit. Relaxing gas only lasts for as long as you are inhaling it, and when it is stopped, you are back to your normal self again.
“Twilight” or “Sleep” Dentistry
- Twilight or Sleep dentistry, is a form of conscious sedation used regularly in dentistry to reduce anxiety and tension during your dental visit. Conscious sedation means that you are medicated to induce sleep and your dentistry is performed while you are sleeping. As it takes a while for the medication to leave your system, a friend or family member must bring you to your appointment. Once your dentistry is completed, you go home and someone needs to stay with you for 24 hours to ensure your safety. You have no memory of the dental procedure itself and for extremely anxious people, or those who feel overwhelmed by the thought of dentistry, this is a great way to get your dental treatment done. It is a safe procedure to have done under the care of a dental anaesthetist.
Preventive Therapy
- Mouthguards – use a mouthguard during any activity that could result in a blow to the face or mouth. A properly fitted mouthguard can help prevent broken teeth and injuries to the lips, tongue, face or jaw.
Minimal Intervention
- This is a modern dental approach designed around the principal aim of preservation of as much of the natural tooth structure as possible. We treat the underlying cause, as well as the problem.
Laser Dentistry
- There are a variety of uses for lasers in dentistry. Lasers can be used for decay removal, gum reshaping, cleaning root canals and can be used in treatment of gum disease and severe periodontal pockets. Lasers can also eliminate the need for the dental drill and reduce patients’ fears about treatment. Lasers such as the Waterlase® MD used at Elegant Smiles, can be used to remove decay by totally eliminating the sound, heat, pressure, and vibration of traditional dental drills. In most cases treatment is virtually painless, and can eliminate the need for needles.
Invisalign
- Invisalign is a series of clear aligners that are changed around every two weeks to straighten your teeth. The trays are cutomised to your mouth and are removable to eat, brush, floss and for special occasions. The aligners are comfortable and virtually invisible so hardly anyone will know you are straightening your teeth!
